Assistant Quantity Surveyor Main Contractor Gatwick Â?9.00 12.00 p h Main Purpose of role To provide assistance to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor(s) in their roles and gaining experience with a view to future advancement. The Candidate You will need to have worked within the main contracting general build sectors and preferably have previous experience of refurbishment and new build projects. You must have a clear understanding of the following Subcontract procurement Monitoring of variations site measurements (subcontract &amp direct) providing details to the Senior Qs Processing of subcontract payments &amp contractual requirements such as payment notice submissions Full support to Senior Qs Liaison with subcontractors Manual take offs using Smm7 or similar Good all round construction knowledge In addition candidates must be within commutable distance of the mid Sussex office. The successful candidate will have ongoing temporary work with a view to joining the company on a permanent basis.
