As a Night Porter you can expect to be involved in varied roles, including handling luggage, setting up function rooms and refreshments for conferences, working on the barfor residents,providing room service, and assisting with the general cleaning and laundry provision within the Hotel. Full Fire Marshall and Health & Safety Training will be offered to you, to assist you with the role.
You will also be required to assist other departments with duties where required.
Working on your own intiative and excellent customer service are essential.

Horsted Place Country House Hotel (www.horstedplace.co.uk) has a vacancy for a housekeeper to start in February. The job includes servicing the 20 luxury rooms and suites as well as the public rooms of this traditionally furnished hotel. The successful candidate will be well presented and have a conscientious approach with attention to detail. Similar experience preferred.
Good English is essential – candidates will be interviewed by telephone if they are not local.
National minimum wage. 40 hours a week rostered over five days to include weekends.
