Responsibilities 1. To secure payment of any defaults or late payments giving a deadline date by which repayment is to be made and to send relevant letters to the customer in accordance to company policy and procedures. 2. To monitor all Direct Debit and Cheque payment defaults ensuring that all trading accounts for each defaulting customer are handled quickly and effectively. 3. To advise the relevant Sales Team members and branches of any accounts that have defaulted or are suspended and where appropriate to enlist their assistance in resolving any ongoing issues concerning their customers accounts. 4. To produce a daily Aged Debt Report to review the accounts on that report and to take such action so as to bring the accounts back into agreed credit terms. 5. To monitor all Addacs advices from Bacs relating to change in bank details and to take any necessary action to ensure any customers with cancelled instructions return to Direct Debit payment method. 6. To monitor the Exceeding Credit Limit for late payment. 7. To monitor all accounts that are considered to be a material credit risk and to advise the relevant Sales Team members and Credit Supervisor. 8. To ensure all documentation for Plus Extra account closures is complete and passed to the correct department. 9. Re-opening forms for the Credit Supervisor to pass for authorisation and to ensure they are passed on to the Admin team for actioning once authorised. 10. To keep a log of telephone calls both outgoing and incoming. 11. To carry out other duties as may reasonably be required.
