In need of a Ruby on Rails developer/teacher : Brighton

February 3rd, 2012

Hi there, I am a 28yo student that as part of my university project I am building a website using Ruby on Rails. The situation is that I am feeling rather stuck and running out of time. Therefore I am looking for someone to help me out. I do NOT want someone to do it for me. I am looking for someone to help me doing it, teacher style I guess. Once or twice per week… Is there anyone out there with some RoR knowledge willing to give it a try? I am a student, but I PAY for your time! Thanks, Sergio

Have you ever considered a career as a private financial trader? : Brighton

February 1st, 2012

Did you know the average income for a Goldman Sachs trader is $387,655 (£240,627)? (Source – Bloomberg) Here are the 4 key reasons why you should do it too: 1. You only need a laptop, internet connection, some relatively inexpensive software and professional training to get started 2. You can trade from anywhere in the world at any time that suits you 3. You can limit the risk on any trade to less than 1% of your account balance and leverage the upside for fantastic profit potential 4. Under current tax laws in the UK, all profits are 100% exempt of tax, and there are no commissions or fees Knowledge to Action is regarded as Europe’s largest Trader Coaching Company (and National Business Awards Finalist) and is running some completely free workshops to show you how you can get started, regardless as to whether you choose to trade full-time or part-time as a positive addition to your income. At the end of three months my fund was 45% up… so whatever I was doing was right and I think the #1 thing I was doing right was I was trading. I was keeping it simple, I was following the rules that were given and was able to take it from there. Richard Biddle

Help Needed With WordPress : Brighton

January 31st, 2012

I am in great need of some help with wordpress. I have been working on my site for some months and i wanted to get it live and replace the one I had. I was following a forum on how to do this and it instructed me to change the url address in the options part of dashboard. Obviously as you have probably already guessed this promptly threw me out of the program and wouldn’t let me back in. I have managed to change it back in phpmyadmin section of mamp and the home page comes up but is all messed up. None of the links work and I can’t get onto the dashboard like before. So what I need is for some kind soul to fix this issue and get my site live for me. I feel this would be simpler than trying to do it over the phone and I will no doubt learn a lot from the process at the same time. I live in Brighton and I’m willing to pay the person something for their trouble, just need help really!
