Not necessary Nearest Tube or Station East Grinstead We are seeking a very special part-time nanny housekeeper to support this family. Mum sustained a brain injury two years ago and as a result needs support with her son E aged 17 months as well as help around the home. The nanny housekeeper will need to be very sensitive to mum s needs she is able to do a great deal herself but there are some things she is just unable to do. Her processing memory and attention can be affected she finds it especially difficult to switch attention from one thing to another. Mum needs someone who understands that while she would love to do everything both around the house and regarding E sometimes she is physically not able to and just needs to sit quietly. We need someone who is very calm who is able to keep the house tidy and who understands why this is so important. Duties will include preparing E s meals and drinks supporting mum to prepare and give E his breakfast take E to nursery four mornings a week and assist with various housekeeping duties while E is at nursery. On Mondays E does not go to nursery so there will be the opportunity to help support mum with fun play activities and his care to give her the confidence and enjoyment of playing with and caring for her son or to look after E and allow his parents to spend some time together.
